 a.    39th Hawaii State Festival 2004

    (1) Registrar's Report:  Henry Staehle reported that 118 people have registered so far for the festival. 80 have registered for the luau and 25 for the cruise.  Of those registered, 73 are from the mainland and 36 are local. The cost for Federation members is $20 and $30 for others.

    (2) Chairman's Report:  Dave reported that he has received confirmations from Bob VanWest and the cuers, who have agreed to conduct any workshops that are requested. It is planned to use both halls, one for line dancing and one for round dancing.  Foliage will be sparse this year due to the fact that Tim will not be able to furnish the usual ginger cuttings, so it is not planned to decorate the windows.  The only apparent source of flowers may be from the luau on Tuesday and any additional decorations the Todds may be able to provide.

5.  USA West:  Tim Voss reported that so far 74 dancers have already pre-registered for the 2006 USA West Convention to be held at the Neal Blaisdell Center August.9 - 12, 2006.  Four from Hawaii have registered so far.  Between 500 and 1000 dancers are expected to attend.
