The October meeting was
convened on Sunday, October 27th at 5:30 p.m., at Ala Wai Palladium.
1. Attendance: Federation Chairman, Vice
Chairman, and Treasurer. The
following clubs were represented:
Pali Twirlers, Square Wheelers, and Tsunamis.
2. Minutes: The minutes of the September
26th meeting were accepted as submitted.
3. Treasurer's Report:
The Treasurer reported a balance in the checking account of
$3,968.00. Balance after
payout of Club Festival Escrow would be $3612.00. Balance last year was
$2,023.17.
4. Committee Reports
a. 2003 Hawaii State
Festival:

Chairman's Report:
The chairman reviewed complaints about Outrigger Travel
Internationals response to dancer’s inquiries. Issues was discussed with
Outrigger Manager and assigned agent.
Callers Sullivan and Frazier have booked their own travel and
housing arrangements in order to ensure family connections.

Festival Volunteers:
We are still looking for Oahu help with the State Festival. Assignments requiring only an
hour or two of your time are available.

Registrar's Report:
No changes since September report. Approximately 6 new
applications received today for processing.
5. Old Business: Visit to Big Island for
Hot Foot Stomp was reported as successful and most enjoyable. Registration was
disappointing but those who attend were dedicated dancers and had a
great time. Phil Moorehouse did a good job and Freddie Loveless is
to be complemented for solving the question of rounds.
6. New Business: Federation Reps are requested
to help advertise the Maui No Oi Festival and encourage members to
register early. Attendance
is limited to first 80 dancers.
7. Club Reports and Activities: Future
events are listed on the Web Page, recorded on the Hot Line, and
printed in the Coming Events flyer.

Square
Wheelers will return to normal sessions on Sunday nights with
mainstream and rounds from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Plus calls will be work shopped
during the evening. Toys
for Tots dance will be held on Dec 15th at Ala Wai
Palladium. Christmas
Brunch will be held on Sunday, Dec 22nd. Club will be dark Sunday
night, Dec 22nd.
8. Next Meeting: The next meeting will be held
on Sunday, November 24, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. at the Ala Wai Palladium.
9. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at
5:55 p.m.
